P3 Awarded New Scope on its MOBIS Contract

P3 Solutions currently holds a GSA MOBIS (Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services) schedule contract. Our MOBIS schedule gives customers throughout the Federal Government a streamlined, efficient way to procure our services. We are currently providing services under two MOBIS areas: Project Management and Acquisition Support. We have recently been awarded a third area: Consulting.

MOBIS Consulting services include expert advice, management consulting, program planning, studies, analyses, reports, simulations, management coaching, and policy development.

P3 Solutions is now on DHS PACTS

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded two IDIQ contracts under the Program Management, Administrative, Clerical, and Technical Services (PACTS) program to the imPACTS Team—a joint venture that includes P3 Solutions. PACTS is a multiple-award contract with a $1.5 billion ceiling, and is set aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). This contract vehicle enables DHS to procure a variety of program management, administrative, clerical, and technical services.

The imPACTS Team was created specifically to provide high-quality professional services to DHS via the PACTS contract. The Team was awarded contracts in two PACTS Functional Categories: FC-3, Clerical Services, and FC-4, Technical Services. The potential period of performance is up to 5 years for each Functional Category. The PACTS awards enable imPACTS to compete for work in a broad range of services and solutions supporting DHS offices around the country and globally. As part of the imPACTS team, P3 will be an integral part of supporting the imPACTS Team in its efforts to support the DHS mission.

P3 Solutions Wins Contract with GSA's Federal Acquisition Service

P3 Solutions was recently awarded a contract to conduct data quality reviews for the General Services Administration's Federal Acquisition Service (GSA FAS). This project is part of a Government-wide, OMB-mandated effort to assess the quality of data in GSA's Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG). It is P3's first win under the MOBIS Acquisition Support Special Item Number (SIN 874-6).

P3 Solutions Wins Contract with National Weather Service

P3 Solutions has been awarded a 4-year contract to provide the National Weather Service (NWS) with program management and transition services. P3 has been supporting NWS for much of the past 2 years; this contract expands our activities and extends our relationship with the NWS Center Weather Service Unit (CWSU) program. We are helping the program transform its business processes and manage a transition from 21 CWSUs to 3 centers in response to Federal Aviation Administration requirements. The award is P3's first task order under our GSA MOBIS contract.

Dave Clement Joins P3 as Chief Operating Officer

P3 Solutions recently hired Dave Clement as its new Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Clement has more than 25 years of experience working with the Federal Government and major Government contractors. He translates his experience in Government contracting and his expert knowledge of all Federal agencies? operations and buying practices to helping companies develop Federal business units with targeted insight into Government strategic procurements and innovative solutions. His corporate experience includes every aspect of operations and business development at the executive level. He has worked extensively with the U.S. Army, Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Justice (INS), Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, Environmental Protection Agency, Health and Human Services (HCFA), and the FBI.

P3 Solutions Awarded GSA MOBIS

On June 12, 2009, the General Services Administration (GSA) awarded P3 Solutions a contract under the Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) schedule. MOBIS is a government-wide procurement vehicle that will make it significantly easier for our Federal customers to acquire our services. As a MOBIS schedule holder, we will also have increased options for teaming with our valued partners in the private sector.

P3 now holds GSA MOBIS contract number GS-10F-0223V, and the services we offer under this schedule are Acquisition Management Support (MOBIS Special Item Number (SIN) 874-6) and Program and Project Management (MOBIS SIN 874-7). New P3 Subcontracting Relationships

P3 Solutions continues to deepen its relationships with leading contractors, expanding our opportunities to support key government contracts. We have now joined the following highly qualifed teams: Nortel Government Solutions, EAGLE Functional Category 5; Kadix Systems (a DRC company), EAGLE and Seaport-E.

P3 Solutions Wins Microsoft Contract

Microsoft Corporation recently awarded a contract to P3 Solutions to provide dedicated proposal support to its Public Services group. This contract, awarded via a highly competitive bid process, extends and formalizes our existing relationship with Microsoft. P3 will provide turnkey proposal development services and business development consulting; we have hired four additional full-time staff members to help carry out this work.


Team Including P3 Solutions Wins Tricare TEAMS Contract

IMS Government Solutions recently won one of 23 awards under the $500 million, 10-year Tricare Evaluation, Analysis, and Management Support (TEAMS) contract. P3 is a key member of the IMS team. Sponsored by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs and the TriCare Management Activity, TEAMS is large indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle that will be available to the Defense Department, DOD Health Affairs, and other agencies with health care responsibilities. We at P3 Solutions look forward to supporting our valued partner and the Government in this exciting effort.


Proposal Training Gets Government Audience

P3 recently provided proposal development training to the IRS and TSA. Attendees included COs, COTRs, and Contract Specialists ? all professionals who benefit greatly from streamlining the RFP and proposal life cycle. The course, titled ?From RFP Release to Proposal Development: An Industry Perspective,? shows participants the step-by-step process a typical contractor follows in preparing proposals. During the class, P3 and the participants examined the common practices of both small and large businesses, and discussed ways to preempt contractor questions, thereby streamlining the acquisition process.
